James McGee has expertise in computer architecture, digital design, analog/mixed-signal processing, FPGA systems, advanced pseudo-random testing, communication protocols, MIMO decoding, and RF modulation including QAM. Jim has substantial industry experience, with over fourteen years in the electronics industry. He has been involved in the design and testing of processors, memory controllers, and I/O controllers on multiple levels. Jim has experience with Bluetooth and 802.11 standards, and architected a core for PCI-Express. Jim received a B.S. Electrical Engineering with distinction and a B.S. Physics with distinction from Iowa State University. He was awarded a M.S. Electrical Engineering and has completed Ph.D. level coursework in Electrical Engineering at the University of Minnesota. Jim earned his law degree from the William Mitchell College of Law. He is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Jim is also an inventor on several issued U.S. patents in the areas of computer testing and high-speed communications. |
